Both Canada and the US lost two games this weekend. Not unexpected from the USA team, but mighty Canada losing two Finland and Switzerland, and being shut out both times? Hockey fans in Canada must be losing their minds.
Go to TSN.ca and read the "your call" section after the articles. Granted, it's probably populated by opinionated 12-17 year olds (are you allowed to have an opinion at that age?), but reading through them, you would thing that the men's hockey team had committed high treason by not being undeviating at this stage and outscoring opponents 40-4 after 4 games. And PLEASE, can we stop hearing about Crosby. No, he should NOT be on this team yet (Staal, on the other hand....).
Maybe I should rewrite this entry and call it "How good SHOULD be Team Canada?" Or even better, "How good is Team Finland, or Russia, or Sweden, or Slovakia, or the Czechs".
USA plays Russia next, and we need a win or tie to make it to the next round. The way Russia is playing, that is going to be an uphill climb.
